volunteer-Mandarinzone Language School

We are glad that we can help those students who live in the mountain area of Chungba, Sichuan Province, China.

As a volunteer, one of our teachers worked in Chungba Primary School last August. It is such a beautiful places surrounded by spacious grassland. The People are friendly and willing to help every stranger. We also met some volunteers from Sweden, Chengdu. China.

After 3 weeks of life in Chungba, we understood the situation of the school. When the people started the program there were 200 students, there are, now 2000 students. Because is free for the children who were born into a poor families, most parents get to know the people running the school and more and more students want to belong the school. But the number of the classroom and dorms has not increased. Now, there aren’t enough classrooms, dorm spaces (2 girls in one bed) and other Teaching facilities for the students. The children must have their meals on the playground, which made us feel so sad especially it is raining.
