Our Course

We offer different types of courses:
Spoken Chinese, HSK course, Business Chinese, Travel information courses, Culture lectures-lessons, Professional Chinese ( in law, in literature and so on )
1  CHINESE COURSES

   Spoken Chinese:


To improve the communication ability of our students, enabling them to speak Chinese more confidently and fluently. To improve students` Chinese communication ability.
Beginners: Students who are interested in Chinese, starting from basics.
Middle level: Students who have learned Chinese for a short period of time and want to improve their language ability.
Advanced level: Students who can communicate fluently in Chinese and want to improve their Chinese in reading and writing skills.

HSK

Students who want to pass the HSK test (elementary, intermediate and advanced test) or improve Chinese grammar. (more details see  www.hsk.org.cn)

Business Chinese

Students who want to learn Business Chinese or need to pass the BCT (Business Chinese Test). Business Chinese is design for foreigners who want to engage in business in China. Including handling pass port, bank business, commercial negation, banquet, invitation, business talk etc. .

Culture lectures-lessons:

Students who want to learn more about Chinese culture; such as calligraphy, paper cutting, painting and so on.

Trip in China courses

Students who want to travel in China, and eager to know some travel information, school will offer travel courses in English

Professional Chinese

For students who want to improve their Chinese in their major, for example, a lawyer wants to improve Chinese in law, a journalist wants to improve Chinese in news, a write wants to improve their Chinese in writing, and so on, we will offer specialized Chinese courses. For those students who want to learn specific topic about China, such as, economy of China, tourism in China etc.

3  Class schedules:
Classes are offered on Monday---Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:20 p.m.
Working students, business travelers and people with changing schedule;

4  Different methods of teaching
Overseas students, working Students can attend online courses using skype at their home, office or during a business travel.
Students in China have three ways of learning Chinese:
No.1 Classroom teaching with teacher.
No.2 Teacher available to go to students’ home or office.
No.3 Online courses through skype.
Our teachers will use different teaching methods for different level students; this is to achieve the best teaching result for each student.
 

The Chinese learning students can be classified into 3 stages, and 5 levelsPrimary Stage (1) :
Student Level: beginning from scratch
Training Emphasis: pronunciation and simple sentence
Training Target: the student can make expressions for the basic daily life (clothing, eating, living, traveling, self-introduction, and home background), simple social activities (greetings and thanks) and limited learning needs
In class, the student can answer the teacher’s question and put up with its own question. The student can retell or repeat about 300 characters’ text, and also can make a consecutive dialogue. The pronunciation and intonation are basically correct. The speaking speed is close to normal speed. The sentences are coherent.
In real communications, the student can give a simple question-answer and presentation; can speak simple sentences and paragraph made up of simple sentences; have simple conversational ability.
In terms of acculturation, the student can understand the basic polite expression in Chinese conversation.
 
 

Primary Stage (2) Student Level: have some basic Chinese basis
Training Emphasis: Pronunciation, complex sentences and simple paragraph.
Training target: the student can make expressions for the basic daily life (personal hobbies, amateur cultural life, visiting, and tourism), social communication (such as meeting, introduction, congratulation and farewell) and some study needs (ask and answer between the teacher and the student, or between the student and the student)
In class, the student actively participates in teaching activities, proposes a question, and expresses simple ideas. The student can retell about 500 words text, and retold contents are complete, and the speaking speed is close to normal.
In social communications, the student can make simple ask and answer and presentation, can speak simple sentences and the paragraph made up of simple sentences, and also have basic conversational ability.
In terms of acculturation, the student knows Chinese people’s basic life style and cultural tradition.

Medium Stage Student Level: have some vocabulary and grammar basis
Training Emphasis: Phonetics and coherent paragraph
Training Object: the student can make expressions for the basic daily life, social communication, study and work
In class, the student can discuss and make expressions in paragraph, and the sentence is coherent; the words are appropriate. The student can use complicated sentences, especially flexibly use Chinese. The pronunciation and intonation are basically correct, and the speaking speed is basically normal.
In social communications, the student can fluently talk about daily life and social life topics; can also deal with some procedure, conduct basic talks and business negotiation; can basically express its own ideas and ideas and feelings
In terms of acculturation, know Chinese people’s customs and habits as well as expression habits in specific situations.
High Level Stage (1) Student Level: Have medium level Chinese level
Training Emphasis: pronunciation and logics; "Opening, Development, Change and Conclusion” text and topics; paragraph with simple form and content
Training Object: Speaking ability-can make expressions for life, study and all kinds of social activity and simple work
In class, the student can express his or her own ideas systematically and completely, and make a reply. The pronunciation and intonation is basically correct. The speaking speed is close to the native speaker. The sentence is coherent. The word and expression is appropriate. The student can also use some complicated sentences and flexibly use the Chinese language.
In social communication, the student can make conversation about social activities related topics when staying with different people ; The student can also have business talk and negotiation, and can express his or her own ideas and feelings completely   
In terms of acculturation, the student can understand the Chinese people’s value system under social and cultural background

High Level Stage (2) Student Level: Have a relatively solid vocabulary and grammar foundation
Training Emphasis: Pronunciation, paragraph with clear center topic and orderly express
Training Object: Speaking ability-can make expression for high level study, social communication and some professional work
In class, the student can have a discussion, debate and speech about every topic about social life. The student can express his or her own ideas systematically and completely. The students have strong ability in connecting sentences into a text. The pronunciation and intonation is correct. The expression is coherent. The student can also flexibly use the language
In social communication, the student can have fluent discussion about social activities related topics when staying with different people ; can also have some professional business talk and negotiation; can speak off the cuff in public. The student can also select high level materials with Chinese cultural background and express his or her own ideas completely and appropriately.
In terms of acculturation, the student can understand the Chinese people’s ideas, ethics and moral as well as psychological characteristics.
